Mustard Microgreens


Microgreens (mustard seeds) - home grown microgreens



  





How to grow microgreens without soil.

What will you need:-
1. Plastic tray - Make sure to get ones with drainage holes, or you’ll need to poke some holes in them yourself.

2. Paper towel or cotton/linen cloth

3. Microgreens seeds - you can buy organic microgreen seeds
4. Lights :- sunlight or LED fluorescent lights
5. Spray bottle for water

Instructions:-

✔️Soak the seeds overnight.

✔️Next morning , take plastic trays with paper towel/cotton cloth. Fold the towel to make a thick layer. Pour the water and ensure that the paper towel/cotton cloth are properly wet with no dry spots. Lay them flat for seeding.


  


✔️Spread soaked seeding evenly.

  


✔️Take a mister and mist the seeds evenly.
✔️Then take other wet folded paper towel and put it on the top of the seeds. And close the tray box.

  


 


✔️Now, place the growing tray in the any empty tray.
✔️And Place the tray at a warm location (room temperature)
  



 ✔️Using a spray bottle, mist the tray every 10-12 hours.

✔️After 4-5 days, the seeds will sprout. 

 


✔️Uncover the tray and keep it at a spot that gets direct sunlight.

  


  


  


✔️ Most of the microgreens will be ready for harvest in 10-12 days.
