Vazhaipoo Kola Urundai ( Fried Plaintain Flower balls)


Ingredients:-
Vazhaipoo / Plaintain Flower - 1 cup, Chopped
Chopped Onion - 1/2 cup 
Chopped Ginger garlic - 2 tsp
Besan flour - 3 or 4 tsp
Ginger - 2 nos
Chopped curry leaves - 1/4 cup
Chopped curry leaves - 1/4 cup
Fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry
Preparation:-

1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients along with enough water.Mix well to form a smooth dough and  make balls of your desired size. Set aside.

2. Heat the oil in a wok/kadai. 
3. Fry the balls until browned and crisp. Drain on paper towels. 

4. Serve as an appetizer,snack or a side.
5. You can also make Kola Urundai curry using these balls.
