Ingredients:-
Dhoor dal - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
Coconut - 2 tsp
Chilli powder
Cloves - 1
Nutmeg - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Salt
For the seasioning:-
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Preparation:-
To make Peas Masala Gravy:-
Dhoor dal - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
Coconut - 2 tsp
Chilli powder
Cloves - 1
Nutmeg - 1
Cinnamon - 1
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Salt
For the seasioning:-
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Preparation:-
To make Peas Masala Gravy:-
- Pressure cook Dhoor dal for 3 whistles and mash it well. keep it aside.
- Pressure cook peas for 3 whistles .Drain and mash the peas lightly. keep it aside.
- Dry roast the cinnamon, cumin seeds, cloves, nutmeg, coriander seeds and pepper for few more minutes. Grind it along with coconut and red chilli powder to a fine paste.set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2 - 3 seconds.
- Now Pour mashed dhoor dal and add coconut paste to it . let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add mashed peas and salt and allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with Masala Poori Chaat, Chappati and Dosa.
