Pesarattu is a famous breakfast in Andhra and good for diabetic people. You can immediately prepare pesarattu, once the batter is ready ( you don't need to wait for ferment). Don't add too much rice because it will be hard. Pesarattu goes with Rava upma very well. It taste good when its hot and crispy.
Ingredients:-
Green Gram / Pachapayiru - 1 cup
Rava Upma - 2 cup
Raw rice - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green chilli- 2 nos
Salt as per taste

Preparation:-
- Wash and Soak green gram and Raw rice in water 10-12 hrs separately. Set aside.
- Grind the soaked mixture along with green chilli, ginger and salt into a smooth paste.
- Heat a tawa , add 1 tsp of oil.
- Pour 1 ladle of batter, spread it like a dosa.
- Pour 1 tsp of oil and cook on both the sides till golden brown.
- Take 1 ladle of Upma into the centre of the Pesarattu and fold it in half.
- Serve hot with Spicy ginger chutney , Rava Upma or coconut chutney.
