Vegetable Uthappam





Ingredients:-
Dosa Batter - 3 cups
Seasame Oil - 10 tsp
Chopped Onion - 1/2 cup
Chopped Green chilli - 1 tsp
Chopped Tomato - 1/2 cup
Shredded Carrot - 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves chopped - 4 stalk
Idly podi - 2 tsp

Preparation:-

  1. Heat dosa tawa in medium flame.
  2. Drizzle 2 drops of sesame oil over the tawa.
  3. Take 1/2 cup of Dosa batter and spread evenly (as the uthappam is much thicker).
  4. Pour oil on uthappam circumference.
  5. Now spread the chopped vegetables evenly on the uthappam, and gently press it down        with the ladle.
  6. Close the lid and allow to cook for 2 min.
  7. Next, flip over and similarly roast the other side.
  8. Serve hot with Coconut chutney, Sambar or garlic chutney.
